A long-lasting, non-comedogenic concealer that comes in stick form and that can also be used as a contouring tool.

Product Detail

Maybelline Cover Stick is a concealer that comes in an easy-to-use stick, rather than in a tube, like the majority of concealers on the market. This cover stick blends perfectly with skin and Maybelline claims it can completely conceals blemishes, dark circles and other imperfections when worn alone or under foundation. The long-lasting, non-comedogenic, waterproof formula won’t clog pores, preventing future blemishes. Try the yellow corrector to conceal dark circles and the green corrector to conceal redness. Some use this concealer stick as a contouring tool.

For the price, Maybellines Cover Stick is an absolute steal. The stick is creamy with incredible coverage, and in such a convenient package. Note — you are not supposed to apply it directly from the stick — the hard texture will pull at your eyes! Instead, mix it with a little moisturizer or foundation to help make it subtle. There is such a wide range of colors that you can find one for every problem, and they are so much easier to carry in your purse. Great for the on-the-go woman.

I usually dont wear a lot of makeup, but I like having a Coverstick in my purse to correct dark circles instead of doing my full makeup in the morning. (I just cannot be bothered!) It isnt messy, it wont spill in your purse, and it is so convenient to use when you are on the go. I dont even have to put foundation over the one for dark circles.

I have been using Maybelline for years, and recently they started giving me a rash. Who changed the formula for the Coverstick and made it start turning against sensitive skin? I do love the brand, but the quality of the Coverstick is not as good as it used to be. Bring back the old formula!

Maybelline CoverStick is so convenient for doing my makeup. Sometimes I dont want to go all-out with my liquids and powders, so its nice to have a concealer in a stick. The fact that its a stick makes it really easy to put on. It is thick and creamy, which covers really well, but it feels heavy on your face (it can take a while to get used to that). The colors are very light, though — you should go a shade up from what you normally get if you dont want to put foundation on too.

Ever since I gave birth to my daughters, I have been troubled by dark circles under my eyes and an overall tired appearance. (Well, of course — I had twins!) I decided to try Maybelline Cover Stick to blend in my blemishes. I figured it was so cheap, how could I pass it up? To my surprise, it worked very well at hiding these little imperfections. It is so easy to take with me everywhere because I have no worries about it leaking all over my purse. I will definitely be buying it again.

If you are just looking for a cheap concealer you can throw in your purse and not worry about, this is definitely the product to beat. It does what its supposed to do and nothing else. Now, just because it wont make a mess in your purse doesnt mean that you wont have any troubles with it though — mine broke after about two weeks, and you cant really do much with a broken stick concealer unless you want to form it into a pot. Overall, I think the Coverstick was just average. It does its job in a pinch but creamier concealers are better for every day use.

I love Maybelline, and especially Coverstick. It gives me great coverage and I feel like it even moisturizes where I put it. It works magic on my dry skin and it helps hide most of my blemishes with ease. It takes a while to get used to the texture, but once you know what you are doing, you are going to look great. I highly recommend Coverstick.

I got a Coverstick from Maybelline a few weeks ago and decided to use it. It takes a lot to get the job done, which does eat away at the good price — I had to use a few coats on my dark circles to get them to actually disappear. By the time you put enough on, you will have to check it, because it gets cakey and settles into your lines and pores. It didnt last very long for me either, I had to adjust in a couple hours. I think I need to try a liquid concealer instead.

For years I have had problems with broken blood vessels under my eyes — I always look like I got beat up a few days ago. The yellow Cover Stick does a great job at softening the blue tones so I look less bruised, and with a layer of foundation over the top you cant even tell I have anything on. This helps my eyes look younger, fresher, and brighter — I dont know what I would do without it!

Coverstick is OK, but its far from the best. If you touch your face at all, this is going to wipe off pretty easily (unless you use a good primer and a really good powder). Well, that sort of takes away from the convenience of the stick… Which already isnt on-the-go convenient. (You cant put the stick directly to your eye — it pulls at the skin and even breaks if you arent careful. You have to use your finger.) It is a great back-up, though, but I dont think Im impressed enough to buy another one.

I think Maybelline keeps changing the formula for their Coverstick, because I have tried a few and I get different results every time. This is definitely one of the better ones — but it still needs some work. Because its a stick, its not going to blend well, and there isnt really anything you can do about that This did blend better than other stick concealers Ive tried, though. It covers dark circles really well, but its thick and you can definitely tell its on there. (Not my favorite.) You can actually feel how thick it is on your skin, and it isnt a very comfortable feeling.

It seems the big beauty secret has got out — Cover Stick is getting harder to find in the stores. I guess because people keep swooping it up before I get there. I have used Maybelline products for decades now and this is the only concealer that works right with my skin type. My previous favorite was discontinued — I hope this one doesnt face the same fate, I wont use anything else.

This concealer is really thick and there isnt a huge variety in shades. It is really easy to use, but it is hard to blend and that makes it really obvious that youre hiding something on your face. (If people can tell you have makeup caked on, it is not attractive — trust me.) It covers really well but thats because its so waxy.

I dont usually use stick-type concealers because I think they take too long to work with. You cant really work with them well so I find myself spending forever getting it right. This one actually works really well in the summer time, though, because it doesnt melt off my face when I start to sweat. (My liquid concealers usually do.) It lasts forever once you get it right and it didnt take me that long to get used to it. I just wish they had a color that was closer to my skin tone!

I am so confused. The packaging for this concealer states that it should be put over the top of your foundation — which goes against everything I know about concealer, right? But then on the company website it says to put it under (like I thought). This seems like a huge oversight in quality control if you cant get the packaging information correct. The Coverstick itself works really well for me, as long as I put it under my foundation, but I cannot get over this packaging issue.

I am so pleased with the results of the Cover Stick for my upper lip shadowing. It was not oily (which is something I was afraid of!), it was very easy to smooth and blend, and it offered light, subtle coverage for my moderate blemishes. There is a huge difference if you dont use the right pressed powder afterwards — learn your makeup and this will get you ready for a flawless look.

There are very few shades for this concealer, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had my shade. Unfortunately I was less thrilled once I actually tried it. It was thick and chalky, and hard to blend. It doesnt apply very easily either, and I found that it tugged at my skin when I tried to use it. It feels very heavy, too, which is not something I like. Just to make things worse, the stick broke the very first time I used it. Not impressed! Maybelline, you can do better than that!

I love Cover Stick for my under eye circles. I also like to use this to brighten my whole face (highlighting pro here!) and to keep my lipstick in place. (A little bit at the corners helps keep my color from spreading out — trust me, this is a lifesaving hack.) There might be a better product for what I do with it, but you cant beat the price. I have already bought more just in case!

I have seen so many good reviews for the Coverstick, so I wanted to check it out and see what I was missing. I am so disappointed that this was as thick as it is — it is so hard to blend, and that makes it really obvious. I dont like my makeup to look obvious, and I dont to spend a long time fixing it to try and make it right. This was not the right concealer for me!

There is a reason Maybelline is one of the first brands you think of when you think make up: They are the best! OK, maybe there are other brands that are more expensive, but not all of us can afford $300 a month on makeup. This concealer stick covers better than any of the expensive products I have tried for my dark circles — I cannot believe I ever spent more on something else! I have no idea what I am going to do if they ever stop making my Cover Sticks.

Everyone is always talking about how much of this you need to use and how obvious it makes it. Well, you are doing stick concealer wrong if you have this problem! I mix my Cover Stick with some moisturizer and then apply that to my face. You can have convenience OR you can have good makeup… You cant expect to have both! The way I do it, you only need a little bit of the stick at a time, and it will look much more natural.

I got a yellow Cover Stick to try and help cover my dark circles. Yellow balances out purple, and it actually does a great job at minimizing the blue tones under the skin. It does not make a good spot corrector, but that is a different type of concealer anyway so I was not expecting much. I cannot think of anything better for under eye circles — I have friends who use the green one with good results for their blemishes, too.

The formula is not harsh on my mature skin, it covers my dark circles amazingly, and I can use it as a brightener too (under my foundation). This is a good concealer if you only need some mild coverage. I have some pretty heavy blemishes that were not well covered by this but it did a good job on the lighter ones. It seems to go by really fast, too — I am almost out already and I have only had it for a couple months. If you dont really wear makeup that much, it is definitely not a bad concealer, but it is not my favorite.

I use the green stick and it really works to reduce the redness of my blemishes. If you rub it in right, it does not look green — thats the whole point of concealer. Its supposed to hide, and if yours isnt hiding then youre probably doing it wrong. I always moisturize first and put foundation on after — this is the right way to do concealer, and the stick is so convenient to carry with me.

I have very light skin, so it is really hard for me to find a concealer that works for me. I decided to try the white concealer from the Maybelline Cover Stick line, and I am seriously impressed. This is very easy to apply, it covers very well, and it stays in place all day when you set it right. I cannot think of a concealer that works better for my skin. Just make sure you use enough moisturizer, because it can dry out your face. Set with a good powder and you are good to go all day long.

I wanted to try something new, but didnt have a very large budget, so Maybelline seemed like the obvious choice. I picked up the Cover Stick and was not expecting much — after all, this concealer is only a few dollars and stick concealers kind of suck sometimes. I was so surprised when I tried it and it actually worked! It blends well if you take the time (I was not expecting it to be faster than my normal routine) and I didnt notice any creasing or sliding. The coverage is good for one or two layers — if you put much more than that it will get cakey. I liked this and will be buying it again. Thank you Maybelline!

I had such a hard time getting this to look real and natural! Everyone says how it blends so easily — I did not think so at all. It is heavy and not very creamy — maybe you have to add it to something else, but without another product, this is not great. Even on my pale skin, this concealer was too light — it is so weird, I have never had THAT problem before. I will not be buying it again.

I use it for spot treating sometimes, but it is so light — I have even tried blending it with my foundation to create a darker shade, and it is still very light on me. The concealer itself works really well though, and it covers my problem areas really well. It just shows through my foundation no matter how much time I spend blending.

Its not the best concealer Ive ever used, but its not the worst either. The color is good, but it really dries out my skin. (I dont have super dry skin unless I use it.) It takes a while to blend, especially on my forehead, but I can usually get it softened in pretty well under my eyes. If my spots are really bad, I have to put the stick directly on it and blend with a brush. I would probably buy it again in a pinch.

I was afraid at how green the green stick looked, but I am so happy to say that it blended in well and did not look green on my face. You put on a lot less than you think you need — trust me on this one! I do a thin line and it seems to work good once I blend it in. If you put on too much, you will feel dry and cakey, and your face will feel heavy… Not fun! Make sure you know how to use your products!

It didnt fully cover my acne marks and blemishes, but it did a good job at neutralizing the redness — making them much less noticeable if you do the whole full makeup thing every day. The packaging says it is better for your pores — I dont know if that is true, but I am pretty surprised with how well this worked for the price.

This concealer is amazing. I have been using the same stick for a couple of years now, and I just barely ran out — I have no idea what Im going to do with myself while I wait for my new one to come in! This takes years off my face. I use it as a highlighter and it does exactly what I want it to under my eyes and in other areas that need a little highlighting. The only reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars is because its not very creamy — it feels like a wax. For the price, it rivals the more expensive brands — they might win, but this is half the price (or less).

This concealer is so wonderful, so cheap, and lasts so long. You need a really good green concealer if you are going to cover any red spots on your face, and the green Cover Stick is perfect for balancing and touching up any red spots that show through your regular concealer. It is easy to apply and easy to store, and the shape is comfortable to hold. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone I know — its so much less expensive than other brands and works just as well if you know how to use it.

I have been using Maybelline Cover Stick for almost ten years now. I have used other under eye concealers, but this yellow stick is the best for covering bluish under eye circles — bar none. It works best with a detailed concealer brush, but on days I dont feel like washing my brushes I will put it on with my fingers. It lasts all day as long as I dust with powder. I go through one or two sticks a year, so it lasts a really long time.

Well, since I had my daughter, I have had these horrible dark circles. I didnt have the highest expectations for this concealer, but much to my surprise it actually helped. You just need a tiny bit, sweep it under your eyes and blend it in. With good blending you can use it alone or with mineral foundations — not just under liquid. I could not be happier with this!

I used to use Max Factor White Erase, and it will always be my favorite. I was hoping that this would be similar in results, and this did OK. The Cover Stick is thin and I had mine break within a couple weeks, but that could have been because I was being too rough with it. It is water proof, which is a huge plus for me, especially since most products that say they are, well… Arent. This covers pretty well, and I think I just got too spoiled with my Max Factor, but this is a decent substitute if you need a waterproof concealer.

This stuff is great — as long as you know what you are doing. It took me a long time to realize I needed to mix this with moisturizer or foundation to that the appearance was not super obvious. Once I got the hang of it, I had success covering every blemish I have experienced. I highly recommend the Maybelline Cover Stick.

The green Cover Stick from Maybelline is a concealer with staying power — definitely something I need. It is highly pigmented and very thick, which means that a little will go a long way. If you want your results to look a little more subtle, I like to blend it with my foundation (and apply another layer of foundation on top) — but I only have minor blemishes. It works very well and stays in place all day long. The tube itself is a little fragile, though.

The Cover Stick came in broken — which was a little disappointing, because I like a good presentation. Luckily, I planned to use a concealer brush with it anyway, so for the price, I can deal with it not looking pretty in the package. It only takes a very small amount because of its thick texture, so I think this tube will last me a long time. You will need a separate concealer for your eyes, though, because this is best suited to blemishes (your results may vary).

I have some issues with acne, pimples, blemishes, and just general redness in my face. Of course they say green concealer helps to balance redness, so I chose the green Cover Stick. I had so much trouble getting this to blend that I looked like a cartoon character. Its sticky and makes me feel like wax too, which I didn’t like at all. And it seemed like the packaging was a little weird, too — it took less than a week for the stick to get stuck to the lid and completely ruined. I will not be buying another one.

This concealer is NOT good for beginners. I was told that you are supposed to use green concealer to hide red spots… OK, I tried that, and now my face is green instead. I tried covering it with everything I have, but I cannot get it hidden. If anyone can offer advice for how to cover it up, I would love to give it another chance — but beginners would be better sticking to regular foundation!

This particular Maybelline under eye concealer is nothing special, really. I mean its not bad, but as a fan of Max Factor, I dont think this is in the same league. If you miss the old Max Factor line too, I recommend you try Almay instead — thats the closest substitute Ive found so far. This just doesnt hold a candle to my old tried and true favorite.

This is one of my all-time favorite Maybelline products. It seems like it will be very heavy, but if you use it right, you only use a tiny bit at a time — so it lasts forever, and it is so inexpensive. First I apply a good primer to my whole face. Then I use a concealer brush to retrieve the makeup from the tube, and brush it directly under my eye. Then I use my finger to help blend it in, after blending with my brush. Last, I use a setting powder with a foundation brush to keep everything together. Works every time!

Be warned — it takes a very small amount of this product to get the job done. Everyone who has mentioned how heavy it feels on your face, this is because you are doing it wrong. It takes a lot of practice to get used to the best way to use this type of concealer. I find it best to mix it with moisturizer and spend my time blending it in. I use a mineral foundation, and it really takes some time to get used to how much to use under — it will look very light, but as soon as you put foundation on it will be perfect.

I usually use a more sheer concealer, but I ran out recently and have not been able to find it for cheap, so I decided to give this Cover Stick a chance. Its so cheap, how could I not try it? This product offers decent coverage, but the color is much lighter than I anticipated. It did have a very creamy texture, though, which surprised me — I expected it to be really waxy. Sadly, it was not a good texture for mineral powder over the top — I have drier skin and this looked cakey as soon as I put my powder on top. I was not impressed with this — I think I will stick to my more expensive concealers.

I have thin, fair skin that leads to very dark circles under my eyes. Most concealers tend to make them more noticeable, because its obvious they’re on there. The yellow stick actually does wonders with balancing the purple under the skin, but unfortunately its very cakey underneath powdered mineral makeups. (Even if you only use a very small amount — you can tell its under there.) This takes a long time to blend in, and is not as convenient as the packaging would lead you to believe, but if you are willing to put in the time, it does a pretty good job with liquid makeup.

This works pretty well when it comes to covering my dark circles, but I prefer to use a powder foundation, which absolutely does not work with the Cover Stick. It is sticky and waxy, which is OK if you blend it in well enough but it does take quite a long time to do. Especially if you use mineral makeup, it will get cakey if you put it on over the top of this concealer. Otherwise, its not a bad concealer, as long as you know what youre doing.

This is my most trusted concealer. I use other ones, but I always seem to come back to Maybelline. This stick is easy to use, it has a good consistency, and it is easy to blend with a makeup sponge. (It might be a little hard if you try to do it with the stick itself.) I have been using Maybelline products for about 30 years and with any luck I will be using them for 30 more!
